We are searching for an organized and detail oriented candidate to join our organization. Our ideal candidate will have strong problem solving skills, be self-motivated, and produce an exceptional level of work product. Accurate and timely coding required with a 24-48 hour turnaround.
Experience in General Surgery coding is required.

DUTIES
Accurate and timely coding. 24-48 hour turn around. Research any unusual procedures to ensure accurate coding to maximize proper reimbursement.
QUALIFICATIONS
P/T position available for a certified medical coder (CPC or equivalent credentials) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in General Surgery and physician CPT and ICD-9 coding. Strong Evaluation & Management knowledge desired. College education and degree desired but not required Typing 50 WPM minimum Experience with Adobe Acrobat Standard is desired but not required. Working Knowledge of Microsoft Tools Excellent Time Management Skills Outstanding Customer Service Skills Must be able to Multi-task Good Written and Oral Skills
