Job Description & RequirementsHistotechnician - (Histo Tech - HTL)StartDate: 05/27! /2013Pay Rate: $31.00-36.00 * Histologist needed for 13 weeks at this 116 bed facility.Histotechnicians (HT) prepare tiny sections of tissue samples for microscopic examination by a pathologist. As they work in conjunction with the pathologist, histotechnicians process tissue biopsies that have been removed from a patient during surgery.Required QualificationsHistology Technician Certification or eligible from ASCP (American Society of Pathologists) is required.Preferred QualificationsNoneFacility LocationSituated near the center of Nebraska, the city of North Platte was once a major railroad city but has shifted gears with changes in technology and transportation.
