Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room Nurse - (OR RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $26.50 *
This elite Operating Room (OR) unit seeks an experienced, compassionate RN to join its team. With a care-giving model primarily focused on achieving the best possible patient outcomes, the ideal candidate for this position will bring creativity, innovation, and passion to his or her role. Your expertise will be utilized for precision care within this traditional Operating Room (OR) unit. Expect to enhance your career by providing essential patient care to those who need it most.
The role of the perioperative nurse / operating room nurse (OR RN) is to provide care for patients before, during, and after surgery or surgical procedures. The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant or operating room director with additional training. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile fiel! d; scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments an! d equipment within the sterile field. Perioperative nurses work in every type of healthcare facility, including hospitals, ambulatory or outpatient surgery centers, and physician offices.
Required Qualifications
1. Min 3 years exp
2. ACLS
3. BLS
