Description: is presently looking of RN - Outpatient Surgery right now, this position will be placed in Nebraska. The Outpatient RN manages the care of patients common to the Outpatient Surgery unit which includes: immediate pre-op and post-op care; pre and post procedure care to patients undergoing diagnostic proce! dures including heart catheterizations, myelograms, bronchoscopies, arteriograms, and needle biopsies; and monitoring patients receiving medical management of conditions through blood or IV antibiotic adminstration. The Registered Nurse is responsible for meeting patients' priority needs by assessing, participating in interdisciplinary care planning, providing and/or delegating care and evaluating patients' responses and progress toward clinical outcomes. The RN contributes to an efficient and effective work environment through activities including professional communication and documentation, preceptoring and/or resourcing of others. Requirements: Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state.
Must provide evidence of certification and/or instruction for practice area as required by State or Federal standards/regulations.
