Description: Creighton University Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurse - ICU (Full-time/Nights) right now, this occupation will be placed in Nebraska. ICU: A 25 Bed Critical Care Unit with highly skilled staff promote care and well-being in a variety of patient populations. We care for critical care medicine patients, neurosurgical, trauma, and neurology patients. In addition patients are admitted after cardiac bypass surgery and as high risk general surgery patients.
The staff nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient. The staff nurse initiates teaching and educates the patient and family/or significant other to attain optimal health.
