Description: Papillion Eye Surgical Center is employing Surgery Center Coordinator right now, this vacancy will be placed in Nebraska. Papillion Eye Surgical Center, an Ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) in Papillion, NE, seeks a part time surgery center coordinator. The coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Medical Director in the organization and direction of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The qualified candidate must possess effective decision making skills, organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency, and a warm personality to ensure we meet and exceed quality patient outcomes. The coordinator will also assist in the control and compliance of all state and federal regulations including accreditation and licensing requirements. This is a part -time position. The coordinator will have occasional patient care duties in the eye clinic. The current surgery center coordinator is switching to part time. You will work closely with them.
Qualifications required include:
A current, unrestricted, Nebraska licensed Registered Nurse Operating room and administrative experience (ASC operating room experience a -plus) Ophthalmology experience preferred in cataract surgery Current ACLS certification Knowledge of ASC regulations including: Conditions of Coverage, Standards, and Credentialing Computer proficiency Strong written and oral skills Bilingual a-plus (but not required) Experience with EMR a-plus (but not required)
