Manager, Surgical Services Scheduling and Billing
1. Manages all Surgical Services scheduling, billing, and case logging related activities 2. Drives system standardization in regards to Surgical Services scheduling, billing, and case logging 3. Works in conjunction with Revenue Cycle Integrity to ensure accuracy and completeness of CDM 4. Assists Surgical Services Business OD with the development of strategic plans and goals for Surgical Services scheduling, billing, and case logging 5. Aids Surgical Services Business OD in the determination of appropriate metrics for the measurement of scheduling, billing, and case logging performance
Experience Preferred:
1. A minimum of three years experience scheduling, billing, or logging surgical cases. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in more than one of these areas 2. Documentable experience reducing expense through the standardization of processes, procedures, and products 3. Previous management experience preferred, especially management of decentralized staff spread across multiple facilities 4. Previous experience working with Centricity ORIS or Invision billing preferred 5. Previous staff training experience preferred
Educational/ Licensure:
1. Bachelors Degree required ¿ preferably in business related field
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 1. Basic project management skills 2. Intermediate computer literacy skills 3. Effective written and verbal communication skills 4. Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines 5. High level of motivation, team orientation, professionalism, and trust 6. Places a high value on treating others with dignity and respect
