Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens

The Air Force is looking for a quality Internal Medicine physician at Offutt AFB, near Omaha Must be BC Must have completed residency Must have current BLS,ACLS and DEA Any state license Must have 24 months experience in the last 36 M-F 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. , no call or OT Will see 22-24 patients per day.
Internal medicine (locum tenens) is a branch of medicine characterized by an emphasis on treating the whole body, rather than specialized focus on one body part of system. Many people use internists as their first point of medical contact, and in this way these physicians function similarly to primary care doctors. Internists are trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of illnesses that affect the entirety of the biological system. When an illness proves to be advancing, exotic or complex, internists will usually refer their patients to specialists.
