PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The principal purpose of this position is to be responsible for the daily operations of patient care activities of Alegent Creighton Clinic. Specific functions include, but are not limited to:
1. Responsible for expense managemen! t of all assigned Alegent Creighton Clinic¿s locations and in! vestigating and analyzing new revenue enhancing opportunities.
2. Collaboratively working with leadership in developing, recommending, and managing capital and operational budgets in support of strategic plans.
3. Provides administrative support in carrying out strategic planning initiatives. Works collaboratively with leadership in the planning, development and management of the capital, operational and FTE budgets in support of the ACC strategic plans and goals.
4. Routinely reviews variance reports and develops action plans as necessary.
5. Collaborates with the Central Business Office in identifying any revenue cycle difficulties in assigned areas and develops action plans as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
Five years experience in a healthcare related field with at least three years management/supervisory experience is required.
Educational
A bachelors degree in Health Care Adminis! tration, Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Candidates without a degree must possess five years of related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must possess strong knowledge of clinic operations; strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards; strong project management skills; good communications skills; good strategic planning skills; strong change management skills; must demonstrate personal traits of a high level of motivation; team orientation; professionalism; trust and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect.
