The EHR Systems Analyst will support the optimization, and maintenance of Meditech Electronic Health Record.
Responsible for technical / configuration specifications,! system design, workflow development, test, install, support and release management of EHR functionality.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to designing and modifying screens, reports and application workflows. Takes the initiative to research, resolve and respond to tasks regarding implementation and ongoing maintenance of the EHR. Serves as the primary EHR system administrator including daily administration duties such as backups, security and patch management and user account management.
Participates in the development of interfaces; researches, plans, installs, configures, troubleshoots, maintains, and upgrades hardware and software interfaces with the EHR system.
In collaboration with EHR Director, develop a standardized and consistent approach relating to Meaningful Use compliance. Analyze, modify, review and run MU reports in Meditech to ensure initial compliance and continued compliance. Complete documentation including! required data elements to validate compliance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Technology or related field
Has the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in health analytics, EHR implementation and ongoing maintenance
Meditech client server experience strongly preferred
