JOB SUMMARY Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Medicine and/or Surgery and in collaboration with Clinic Managers, the Nurse Manager plans, organi! zes, directs, supervises and coordinates nursing staff and patient care to ensure an optimum quality of care in designated clinics. Assists in policy development and ensures that clinics meet confidentiality, regulatory and compliance mandates while delivering services in a compassionate, safe manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program
- License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska without restriction required
- Minimum two years experience in a supervisory position
- Two plus years physician office experience preferred
- Current CPR certification is required
- Knowledge of current nursing polices, practices, and protocols
- Computer skills required
- Maintains current clinical knowledge and skills through professional journals, in-services, conferences, workshops and/or seminars
- Attend and participates in approved/requested committees and meetings
- Fl! exibility in adjusting to variable workload and job duties
- Valid Driver' license with ability to drive to various clinic locations
- On call to staff areas with appropriate personnel when need arises
- Ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written communication skills in effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public with a variety of cultural and social backgrounds
