The National Account Manager manages Clarient's relationship with a national and multi-regional healthcare providers; including Hospital Networks, Accountable Care Organizations, Group Purchasing Organizations, VISN's, ambulatory surgery chains, and oncology services providers. The incumbents role is to identify, coordinate and lead business opportunities. The National Account Manager is responsible for the development and achievement of account strategies and Clarient business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Leverage domain expertise in oncology, pathology, and laboratory services to develop an account strategy for all assigned accounts to achieve sales, orders and margin while managing costs within budget.
- Uncover and document customers' key initiatives and priorities through interactions at multiple levels of account. Lead the development of an account business strategy that translates these initiativ! es and priorities into opportunities for Clarient solutions, products, ! and services.
- Lead key operating mechanisms for Clarient account team to ensure execution of the sales strategy. This will entail working closely with District Managers and Account Executives.
- Lead key operating mechanisms with the customer.
- Act as the primary customer executive point of contact in the assigned Accounts. Build "trusted advisor" relationships with local account's executive.
- Develop programs to implement new contracts gained and insure adoption
- Build and develop CRM data â" documenting key accounts and contacts
- Must be willing to live in the Western Region of the US
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Two years diagnostic laboratory sales experience with demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated success with gaining local or regional IDNs and other regional agreements
- Strong critical thinking and analytic! al skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of highly motivated sales professionals.
- Willing to travel up to 2-3 days per week.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all members of the organization, customers and external contacts.
