Shift: Days - variable day
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36
Additional Notes: SDS Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of nursing care of p! atients in the Special Procedures unit, Post Anesthesia Care unit and the Same Day Surgery unit that include patients ranging in age from: infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age, adolescent, young adult, middle-aged, and the aged adult. Activities include, but are not inclusive to the preparation of the surgical, procedural patient, post anesthesia care of the surgical, procedural patient, assisting with Endoscopy procedures giving IV moderate sedation under the direction of the physician and anesthesia policy, Pain Management Clinic, interventional radiology patient preparation and recovery. Nurse to Patient ratio: preop 1:1, recovery 1:2, postop 1:3. Number of beds: 12 preop, 12 postop, 8 PACU. Computer systems include OR Manager, Allscripts, some Affinity. Must be flexible with schedule, willing to work holidays and on call. RN with current Nebraska or compact licensure. BSN preferred. BLS, ACLS, PALS required. CNOR preferred
