Physician Services Coordinator

Location: Omaha Nebraska

Description: C&A Industries, Inc. is hiring Physician Services Coordinator right now, this job will be placed in Nebraska. With the addition of Locum Tenens to C&A's Physicians division, the expanded workload makes it necessary to add a Services Coordinator to the staff.

The Physicians Services Coordinator positi! on is primarily responsible for providing support to the Physician Services sales team with regard to securing new business, recruiting independent contractors, presenting candidates to job orders, managing employee assignments, physician credentials, and associated activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process physician credentials, including criminal background verifications.
• Conduct work references on viable candidates.
• Managing job board content and responding to initial inquiries to job postings.
• Complete insurance malpractice applications for each physician contractor.
• Manage new hire documentation and ensure proper database administration.
• Reqest information for insurance carrier purposes.
• Assist sales staff in identifying and managing job leads from job boards.

Requirements & Preferences:

• 2 years administrative experience in a medical office or rela! ted position.
• Ability to effectively communicate with! others (written and spoken).
• Skill in organizing tasks and prioritizing deadlines and timelines.
• Proficiency of basic MS Word and Excel applications.
• Experience in candidate credentialing is a definite plus.
