5 West is a 45- bed medicine/cardiac monitoring unit that provides patient care for a wide range of departments including internal medicine, family medicine, surgery and multiple specialty services. Nurses on 5 West receive the training and expertise to care for a variety of medical/surgical telemetry patients including those with titratable IV drops, arterial lines and CVP lines. The unit features a challeging, fast-pasted, team-oriented work environment.
Job Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited ! school/college of nursing required.
- Demonstrate effec! tive communication skills required. Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility required. Ability to multi-task and work-through competing priorities required.
- Basic Life Support, Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
