The Production Planner for Radiometer is responsible for planning the production and manufacturing of the supply chain to ensure that the department meets the production demand. Moreover, a key task is to ensure that all the necessary material end components are available in the production when needed, which requires to continuously follow up on inventory levels and material consumption and resupply.
You will work in a dynamic environment with both planning, LEAN and continuous improvements tools in a complex and low-volume production that contains of many ingoing items and a large supplier base. The challenge is to keep the production going while maintaining low inventory levels.
To thrive in this position, it requires a certain amount of independence and autonomy, as it is the only Planner for the department. You will therefore entail the need for a close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan and prioritize the production and scheduling
- Contact suppliers and ensure sufficient raw materials for the production
- Management of inventory and deliveries
- Updating and optimization of systems, production and inventory data, internal processes, and tools (With a LEAN approach)
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain or equivalent
- Experience from production/operations is an advantage
- A desire to work with LEAN
- Excellent communication skills and speaks and writes fluent Danish and English
- Thrive in a high-pace environment
