This individual would be re! sponsible for medical and dental billing, posting insurance payments, insurance verification, preparing patient estimates, and obtaining pre-authorizations and pre-determinations when needed. Additional responsibilities would include preparing patient refunds, sending statements, and calling patients with past due accounts. Communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and friendliness are important components of this position. Coding certification required. Medical and dental coding experience preferred.
