This position is located in the Primary and Specialty Medicine Service.
Primary duty of the physician is to provide coverage as hospitalist in the inpatient setting and for all assigned clinic patients on his/her panel.
Outpatient clinic responsibilities will include panel management and resident education.
Physician must be willing to serve as su! pervisor/collaborative physician to primary care mid-level providers in the outpatient clinic.
The selected candidate will work a variable daytime hours work schedule.
Relocation expenses will not be authorized. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
 U.S. Citizenship (Non-citizens may be appointed only if it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens)
 Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
 Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
 Must be board certified or eligible.
Preferred Experience
1. Background in ongoing outpatient primary care clinics.
2. Board certification in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine.
3. Experience with academic medical practice in a teaching hospital.
