We are seeking a Nurse Manager Surgery. You will be responsible and accountable for the organization and supervision of the surgery department, delegated authority to develop and maintain the surgery services in accordance with overall hospital policies. Although professional surgical practices are developed cooperatively with the Medical and other professional staff, the Manager retains authority over surgery practice.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of an accredited program for nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska.
Minimum of three (3) years+ of OR experience is required.
Experience in surgery management and certification in surgery preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills.
Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Will be required to maintain BCLS ce! rtification.
ACLS and other certifications may also be required.
