The p! ositions are filled through Advanced Surgical, and candidates may apply under every surgical specialty and with any operating room background. The chosen applicant will have 1 year of scrubbing and circulating experience at minimum in various surgical procedures. Specialties in areas like cardiovascular, orthopedics, plastics, ENT, and same day surgery are recommended and requested.
Everyday tasks include the evaluation of OR patients, care plan design, implementation, and documentation of all nursing procedures within the operating room suite. Required certifications include an associate’s degree, state certified registered nurse license, ACLS and BLS.
