The incumbent will be responsible for managing the business of an assigned sales territory and achieving product specific quota attainment through POA execution of sales product interactions while providing service for all Ophthalmic glaucoma products as well as allergy and tears; managing a territory and calling on ophthalmologists in certain markets, hospitals, surgery centers and retail pharmacies, ensuring adequate product distribution; interfacing with customers, Alcon sales management, and marketing and customer service departments. Sales calls may overlap with calls made by other Ophthalmic reps for other products, such as allergy, anti-infective, etc.
Functions independently in sales territory, with periodic direction from sales management. Makes all day-to-day decisions on sales calls, territory management and administration, handling customers service issues and opportunities, implementin! g marketing plans. Additional responsibilities may include: Ma! naged care support and formulary implementation.
