Position Qualification
Position Summary
- Provide clinical care to patients in the area of general surgery/acute care surgery, with specific expertise in the area of burns
- Participate in the teaching of students, residents, and other health professionals in the area of burns/acute care surgery.
- Participate in daily rounds (including teaching rounds), clinical conferences, and weekend and night call
- Participate ! in research within the Division of General Surgery
- Perform administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned
- M.D. or equivalent
- Completion of a general surgery residency
- Completion of a critical care and/or burns fellowship
- Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Surgery
- Experience and knowledge in the area of burns
