Team Lead ACC
Hours: 8-5 pm - some early morning and evening hours are required,
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Provide coordination and general and technical supervision over the Clinical Department and the delivery of care in a cost efficient manner.
a. Maintain a master schedule of employee work hours;
b. Maintain the absence record for all employees;
c. Review and approve time cards each pay period;
d. Maintain a record of overtime worked;
e. Approved absences for vacations, birthday and unpaid time;
f. Meet monthly with staff to facilitate communication between departments and administrat! ion;
g. Provide for monthly in-services.
2. Provide for adequate staff:
a. Secure and train employees as needed;
b. Forecast staff needed by new providers/departments;
c. Review overtime/compensatory time to improve nursing utilization;
d. Propose short and long term staffing patterns;
e. Conduct routine and periodic evaluation of staff member;
f. Develop and conduct orientations for nursing staff members;
3. Maintain the quality of patient care:
a. Review and timely address complaints, suggestions and comments as they apply;
b. Review the monthly service excellence scoring, problem-solve and communicate changes to operations that meet our patient¿s needs.
c. Review practice/department supply requisitions;
d. Responsible for emergency preparedness;
e. Stay abreast of changes in medical fields which may require changes in equipment, personnel or training.
f. Determine operation procedures fo! r personnel procedure manual.
4. Coordinate services with o! ther practice(s)/departments:
a. Attend supervisory/team lead staff meetings as needed.
b. Attend management team meetings.
c. Meet with other department team leads as needed.
5. Maintain excellent personal relations and communication with all members of the staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Minimum of two years healthcare/clinic operations experience.
Education/Licensure:
Bachelor¿s degree in Healthcare Administration/Management, Business Administration or related field or equivalent years of clinic operations experience desired.
